The Malvern Cycle Routes

The Malvern Hills AONB offers excellent cycling opportunities for people with different interests and a range of cycling abilities. The Malvern Hills themselves are popular with mountain bikers but please note that cyclists on the hills must stick to bridleways and should always respect other users. Around the Hills themselves a network of country lanes pass through a variety of different landscapes from steep wooded hills to gently rolling farmland. Cycling is a great way to experience the many sights and sounds of the AONB whilst helping to protect its tranquillity.

'By Bike in the Foothills of the Malverns' provides details of four different bike rides which explore the landscape, culture and heritage of the AONB. The routes differ in the distances covered and levels of difficulty, ranging from pleasant meanders along quiet country lanes to more hilly excursions with prolonged climbs. Routes 1, 2 and 3 take you to Colwall and Cradley, British Camp and Bromesberrow and Storridge and Knightwick, respectively. Route 4 is a combination of all of the above routes for those who are feeling energetic!
