Walks in the AONB

The Malvern Hills AONB is an excellent destination for walkers of all ages and abilities, whether you are interested in a gentle stroll along a tree-lined path or an energetic trek along the ridge of the Malvern Hills. Our Discovery Walks and Miles Without Stiles guides will take you to some of the best bits of the AONB and provide you with an insight into the natural beauty and variety of interest in the area.

Discovery Walk 5 Discovery Walks

A total of seven Discovery Walks are available to download. These guides have been produced by those with extensive local knowledge and offer an eclectic insight into landscape, history and features of local interest. Following a Discovery Walk will almost certainly provide you with a deeper understanding of the Malvern Hills AONB. The leaflets provide comprehensive route directions, a map and points of interest to note along the way.

Miles Without Stiles

Miles Without Stiles are promoted footpaths and tracks which are suitable for use by those who don't want to clamber over barriers when out enjoying the countryside. Leaflets are available for Miles Without Stiles routes in the parishes of Colwall, Cradley and Mathon. Miles Without Stiles routes in the area were created by Herefordshire Council, in conjunction with Natural England and the Malvern Hills AONB Partnership.
